If anyone is planning on making me a mix-tape of Christmas songs...I have a strict "NO Karen Carpenter Rule". I'm just saying.
Moving on.
A few years ago I revamped the alphabet...trimmed the fat a little. I lost that so here's what I have now.
Plurals. They're tough. Letters are hard sometimes. I have a radical new concept that will make this facet of our most-tricky language a lot easier.
There will no longer be "-s", "-es", "-ies", etc. added to the end of words to make them plural. From now on, to pluralize a word, you will double the first letter and separate the doubled letter with an apostrophe. For example:
Door will no longer be "doors". It will be "d'door". Step will no longer be "steps". It will be "s'step". I realize pronunciation may be a bit tough on some of these...keep at it.
There are some exceptions, however...most notably the " -us" words. The really cool ones like cacti and octopi will remain...but we will conform some others. The plural of "bus" will now be "bi". Likewise, the plural of "us" will be "i'...not to be confused with "I".
We will also standardize the following words: "douse", "grouse", "house", "louse", and "mouse". They will now be "dice", "grice", "hice", "lice", and "mice". I like "hice". It makes me laugh. It stays.
That is all.
