We have a spider that builds a web near our basil every night. I've never seen anything in the web and wonder if it ever eats. Maybe it's not a great cook and goes out alot...probably to Chili's.
"And in the Blue Corner..."
CJ loves to put on "Fight Fight Gloves" and go at it. He would wear our gloves any time that we didn't have them on. We found a pair for him that were just his size...coincidentally right around the time of his most recent birthday. His favorite technique is the Rear Naked Choke...he even knows to put his "hooks" in.
Porch Zoo
8/31/08 gave us 2 of the most adorable Tree Frogs (Hyla cinerea) that I have seen this year. These were small and comparable in size to another that Trey and I had found in the "tall grass" earlier in the day. There was also a juvenile Green Anole (Anolis carolinensis)
The Menagerie
This is Cracker...the reason that I now own 4 snakes. He or She is an Albino Striped California King Snake. Not very big...around 2 feet or so...should get to between 4 and 5 feet. Along with Cracker there are: Possum and Piano, the Corn Snakes...Raspberry the Western Hognose Snake, and Monty, my Son's Ball Python.
